Obituary

Michael Lee Lovett passed from this life on November 10, 2014 surrounded by family and friends. Mike is preceded in death by his beloved wife Julie, mother Margaret and father Harry. He is survived by his daughters Victoria Hovander and Michelle Barrett, sons-in-law and close friends Scott and Jeff, his grandchildren Ryan, Jenna, Alec, Sydney and Jase, and his brother Patrick Lovett. Mike had a zest for life and a magnetism about him that attracted many lifelong friendships spanning California, Washington and Arizona. He was funny and lived in the moment. He enjoyed Nascar, golf, football , sunshine, and was a soup aficionado. He was an accomplished carpenter and retired as a General Contractor. He liked to race motorcycles as a young man.

Papo Mike loved his grandchildren and was never shy about singing their praises to everyone with whom he came into contact. He was a great friend to people of all ages and backgrounds. He is now with his best friend and one true love, Julie. Godspeed Papo. We know you’re “looking good” in heaven.

A celebration of life service and reception will be held on December 5th at 3:30 PM at Latitude 49 Resort, Birch Bay, Washington.
