Obituary

Michael Dean Anable passed away peacefully on April 28, 2018, at the age of 71, from the effects of Parkinson’s Disease.

Mike graduated from Bellingham High School in 1965 and was in the United States Airforce from 1965 to 1969. Mike also served in the Air National Guard of Washington and the Reserve of the US Airforce from 1969 to 1978. He worked for many years, as a machine operator, at Georgia Pacific in Bellingham, WA. Mike was a very intelligent and caring person, who you would have definitely wanted to be on your team for a game of trivial pursuit. He was also an avid Seahawks and Mariners fan. Over the years, Mike often traveled with his brother, Jim, to Maui where they made many lasting friendships.

Mike’s passing comes one year after his brother Jim passed away. Mike is also preceded in death by his mother Harriet Anable. Mike is survived by his brothers Dan Anable and wife Kay, and Greg Anable and wife Kathy, along with his nieces Tracy Anable and Jennifer Anable, and grandniece Emily Morgan.

A casual afternoon memorial service will be held to honor Mike on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00pm, at Moles Farewell Tributes Greenacres, 5700 Northwest Drive, Ferndale, WA.
