  2. We are so sorry for your loss. Mike was always a welcome face at Rairdons. He brought a smile to the sales floor with all his special treats he brought in and his great life stories he told. He will be missed dearly. Our deepest sympathy and prayers to the family.

  3. Dear Adele, I was so sad to hear about Michael’s passing.Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the funeral. As you know I’ve been seeing Michael for the past two years for his back pain. Since that time we struck up a friendship. When he told me he had race cars I thought he had a professional driver…..I was amazed to find out that he drove them! But that was Michael…he’s not one to sit on the sidelines! He was always giving me advice on my poor golf game. He actually came to the club one time to watch me play! His advice was……..Work on your short game! He was a great coach and I know will continue to give me advice…..whether I like it or not!Michael was a kind and thoughtful man. I will miss him terribly as I certainly know you will.He is off to another journey most probably racing cars and playing golf. And me…..I’ll work on my short game!

    With kind regards,
    David Schmidt

Mike was certainly a unique man that was bigger than life in many regards. His determination kept him young at heart, and I know he’ll be missed by all of his racing friends and those that he met along the way. A fine man that I’ll certainly miss – peace to his family.
