Obituary

Matthew “Dave” Langtimm, born on March 14th, 1972, in Los Angeles, California, passed away on May 26th, 2025, in Bellingham, Washington, at the age of 53.

Dave was known for his love of music, his strong will, and the deep care he showed for his friends and family. His personality was a mix of steadfastness and unwavering loyalty, and he always stood by those he loved. He worked hard throughout his life as a skilled carpenter and construction worker, and he also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bellingham Technical College.

Dave was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and father. He is survived by his mother, Judy Lawrence; son, Shawn Langtimm; sisters Elizabeth Doom, Robin Zamora, and Lucinda Koury; and brothers Jeff Langtimm and Paul Langtimm. He will also be deeply missed by his nieces, Christian Martinez, Alyxandria Martinez, and Jackson, and nephews Reid Martinez, Jonathon Zamora, and Nicholas and Alexandria Zamora.

He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Langtimm.

Dave leaves behind a legacy of love, and unforgettable memories. He will be missed by all who knew him.
