Obituary

Mary Ann Schultz (Brooks) was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world after losing a battle with dignity and grace to Parkinson’s on November 11, 2021.

She was born to Eugene and Florence Brooks on June 22, 1944. After graduating from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington, MO, Mary moved to the big city of Saint Louis, MO, attending college, meeting her husband, Leonard and having two children: Susan and Steven.

Mary loved riding bikes, traveling, and playing volleyball. Mary took her kids to sit in the free seats at the Muny every summer. Mary volunteered at the Fox Theatre for over 15 years. She loved taking pictures of family and friends on all of her adventures. Mary lived in Missouri most of her life before being swept away by her son to spend her last few years in Washington state, to enjoy the mountain views from her window.
