Obituary
Born in Lewiston, Idaho
Our beloved Husband/Dad/Gramps/GG passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on February 27, 2014. Marv, “Muggs” packed a well-lived 87-plus years to the brim with family, fun, business ownership, travel and wedded bliss (more than 65 years with his beautiful bride Roni). He was a loyal, kind friend to many and always greeted them with a smile and his signature handshake. He was the kind, funny and ever-loving patriarch of our family and a long-standing pillar of Bellingham, owning Blackburn Office Equipment for 30 years. Known in the family for his ever-present happy hum, he enjoyed every day no matter what he was doing. He left us with a legacy of adventure, fun, business savvy, a generous heart and a love of life that we strive to emulate every day. His passing leaves a huge hole in our hearts, but we are filled with joy knowing that he is now with his beloved friends and family who’ve gone on before himand is most likely digging into platefuls of lutefisk and an unending cuppa coffee.
