Obituary

Marvin enjoyed many things throughout his life, but most of all he had cherished his family and friends.

Marvin was a very adventurous person; this is how he had met many of his friends up and down I-5 traveling from Tulalip to Bellingham and Nooksack.

Marvin enjoyed playing sports and pulling canoe in his younger years which included baseball and football and often talked with his close friends about the memories, his friends he had made during his younger years whom is referred to as his BROS.
Marvin enjoyed watching Stick games.

In 1985 Marvin entered into the Cultural home of Petous.

Marvin worked in various fields which included, commercial crabbing, commercial fishing, worked at Lummi Shellfish, fished for Carl Lane on his sein crew, and worked with state fisheries.

Marvin enjoyed time with his family especially his nieces and nephews which he gave them all their own special nick name.

Marvin enjoyed reading the bible to his sisters and quoting scriptures to them on the phone or in writing. With every conversation Marvin always ended with Ho-De-Doo.

Marvin had many nick names people knew him by:
One special name he was always referred to by was Bobbitt given to him by his late grandmother Laura Jackie Tom; other names are Marvo, Gary, and Twin.

Marvin is survived by his parents Loretta Tom of Tulalip, and Walter Williams Jr. of Nooksack; daughter Christina Booth of Olympia; 2 grandchildren Ezkeil and Elizabeth; sisters Lillian Comenote of Tulalip, Crystal Bailey, Pauline Williams, and Katy Joseph of Nooksack; brothers William Washington III of Lummi, Robert Williams of Tacoma; numerous nieces and nephews; aunts; uncles; and cousins.

Marvin was preceded in death by sister; Sharon Williams; brothers Peter Williams and Walter Williams III; grandparents Isadore and Laura Jackie Tom and Walt Sr. and Clara Williams; aunts Sandy Kapuni and Irene Jefferson; and uncle Dickie Williams.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 10:00 AM
Both services at the Wexliem Community Building.
