Obituary

Ladner, British Columbia

Marlene Edith Fullner, age 77, of Bellingham passed away on November 30, 2013 at Highland Care Center. Marlene was born May 1, 1936 in Ladner, BC. She later moved to Bellingham and graduated from Bellingham High School. She married the late Lee Fullner in 1954. Marlene worked at Bellingham National Bank for 15 years. She also served as house mom to Bellingham Blazers hockey players during the 1970s. She enjoyed camping, golf and eating chocolate. A gregarious person, Marlene treasured her family and friendships. She is survived by her sons Kelly Fullner (Karen) of La Crescenta, CA; Kevin Fullner (Gaye) of Bellingham; sister Ruth Sinclair of Bellingham; brother Larry Johnson (Colleen) of Bellingham and grandchildren Brenna, Kristen and Lukas.

Farewell Tribute Information

Burial to be held Friday, December 13th at Bayview Cemetery at 2:00 followed by a memorial service at Hillcrest Chapel at 3:00. Donations Information

  1. we are so sorry to have missed your mom’s service. we spent the day with Merle having surgery or we would have been there. fondly, your cousins…who would like to know you better.

  3. Kevin & Kelly, I am so sorry to learn of Marlene’s passing. No words can be enough. We became friends in high school (60+years) and stayed friends through the years. She touched so many lives with her love and friendship & will always be remembered. Cherish your many memories of your Mom. We know she is at peace in heaven with our loving God. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
