Obituary

Mark Jansen was born to Alfred Jansen and Mary Ann Azure on January 9, 1959, in Bellingham, Washington, and passed away quietly at home on June 12, 2022.

Mark worked many years as a plumber, logger and as a mechanic. Mark spent as much time as possible out on the water a fisherman through and through.

Mark is survived by his daughters Delane Jansen, MyNeah Jansen, SaunRae Jansen, Martina Jansen, Shawnae Jansen, ShaLane Moses and Launica Jansen; sons Marc Jansen, Dustin Jansen, Clifford Jansen and Kyle Jansen; father Alfred ” Jim” Jansen; siblings Darrel Jansen and Trina Jansen; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his son, Doug Jansen; brothers David Jansen and Darwin Jansen.

There will be a funeral service held on June 16, 2022 at Moles Farewell Tributes in Ferndale at 10am. Burial will follow at Lummi Nation Cemetery.
