Obituary

Marjorie Thorson, of Bellingham, WA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. She was born on June 11, 1924 in Bellingham, WA and was the daughter of John R. Denny and Myrtle Sprigs Denny. Marjorie graduated from Bellingham High School in 1942, then worked at Bellingham National Bank and Diehl Motors before marrying in 1961. She was a member of the Bellingham Yacht Club and the Bellingham Golf and Country Club. Her passions were animals and travel. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Donald Thorson and her siblings Mildred Herndon, John Lester, and Marion Payne. Survivors include her nieces Gail Corbin and Carol Simpson, and nephews Jim Herndon and Claye Moore, and also by two grand-nieces and two grand-nephews. At the family’s request, no services will be held.
