Obituary

Marilyn Rose Irwin(Paul) passed away on June 19th, 2023 in Bellingham WA at age 67. She was born in Bellingham to parents Mary and Raphael Paul on July 8, 1956.

Marilyn grew up in Whatcom county, going on to become a Secretary at Lummi Nation Care Office, a caregiver and a Homemaker. She married her husband Andre Irwin in 1989, and she and Andy were happy together for the rest of her life.

Marilyn loved animals and they were a big part of her life, some of her favorite pastimes were going for walks with her dogs, feeding the birds, and rescuing kittens. She also loved watching the Seahawks and visiting with family and friends. Her family will miss her wonderful cooking; her fried potatoes and fry bread, they were the best ever. Another favorite memory of Marilyn is all the time spent together playing video games and watching movies, those nights will be remembered fondly.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Andre, and her son Raphael. She also leaves behind 12 nieces and nephews: Thomas, Ray, Mary, Salvador, Rachel, Pricilla, Harvey, Sally, Thomas, Faith, Gabriel and Lena. She is pre-deceased by her parents Raphael and Mary, and siblings Catherine, Johnny, Naomi, Matthew, Virginia, Ramona, and Eugene.

Marilyn was a thoughtful, kind, supportive, loving and caring person. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of life for Marilyn will be held on Thursday July 13th, at 10am at Moles Ferndale.
