Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, Mari Theresa Joyce-Ranallo, on December 1st, 2024, at the age of 68.

Born on October 9th, 1956, Mari grew up in Philadelphia and pursued a life-long career in Public Service. Mari attended Little Flower High School before studying English and Philosophy at Beaver College. She joined the Air Force and served as a Weather Specialist then went on to the US Postal Service and IRS. In 2004, she met the love of her life, Chris Ranallo and they were together for 20 years.

She was a devoted spouse, mother, sister, and friend. Her kindness and love touched everyone who knew her. She had a warm smile and adventurous spirit that radiated love and compassion.

Mari loved spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed preparing meals and exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Her kindness, compassion, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mari is survived by her spouse, Chris Ranallo, her son James Cantando, and her siblings Jay Joyce and Margie Joyce.

Mari will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Rest in peace, our dear spouse, mother and friend.
