Obituary

Margaret Lucille Bullard passed away peacefully on October 22, 2014 in Bellingham, WA. There will be a celebration of her life and luncheon on April 18, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Union Gap, WA from 10 am to 2 pm.
Margaret was born to Bessie Jane Hinson and Calvin David Craig on April 19, 1928 in Des Arc, Arkansas.
She spent her early life in and around Broken Bow Oklahoma and later moved to California. Margaret and Dennis Edward Bullard were married on October 18, 1947 in Bakersfield, CA. They shared 61 years together before Dennis passed away in 2009.
Margaret graduated from Yakima Business College in the late 70’s. She had a variety of jobs through her life, CNA at a mental hospital, grocery store clerk and bookkeeper. Her favorite job was caring for her family.
Dennis and Margaret picked fruit from California to Washington, and often wintered in Idaho. Life was not easy trying to raise 5 boys on the road, but because of her amazing spirit and determination, the family thrived.
In 1970, Dennis and Margaret begin to set down roots in Yakima, WA. They lived there until 1990 when they retired and moved to Bellingham where they could be among evergreen trees and near fishing areas.
Margaret is survived by her sons: Danny (Maryann), James (Mary), Gary (Stacey), Daryl (Vickie) and Thomas (Lynda) Bullard. She left behind 14 grandchildren, over 20 great grand kids, 3 great- great grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces, and brother-in-law Billy Dean Bullard. She is also survived by her sisters: Judy Sylvester and Frances Carolyn Maloof of Nevada.
She was preceded in death by husband, Dennis Bullard; sister, Elaine Poirier in CA; brother, Fred M Mohegan in OR; sister and brother-in-law Hattie Lee and Bernard Bufford in ID; daughter-in-laws, Kathy Page Bullard and Janie Baldoz Bullard in WA; and nephew, Forrest Weaver in WA.
