Obituary
Marcus Allen Phair, age 27, of Ferndale, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020. He was born on February 12, 1993 in Bellingham, to Marvin and Rachel Phair. Marcus was a Lummi Nation Tribal member. He was a humble and quiet guy! He never complained at what life threw at him, he always had a positive attitude. His favorite past time was riding his bike, playing video games, spending time with his family, trying new foods and recipes. He loved his cats, Baby, Pretty Girl and Butterball were his favorite cats over the years. They were the ones who spent a lot of time in his room, taking over is pillow. He enjoyed the small travels he was able to accompany his mother on, Chicago and Portland to name a few. Chicago was after he graduated high school which he loved exploring the city with his mom, Rachel while she served on the Lummi Housing Commission. Portland was with his nephew, niece, and mom for a TERO Conference. The laughter of getting lost in the city and seeing the landmarks while looking for the hotel but just going in circles trying to make it back to our room. Marcus enjoyed the different restaurants and the simple joys of seeing landmarks and the amazing views of Portland. He enjoyed exploring and talking to his mom about the next adventures he wanted to take while loving the simple things in life and absorbing all thrown his direction. Marcus loved going to the movies with his mom and brother. They often discussed what movies were coming out and what they wanted to see next. The simple joys of riding his bikes and spending time with his mom, brother, niece, and nephew. He loved his niece and nephew very much and thought of them often. Marcus is survived by his parents Marvin and Rachel Phair; brother Michael Phair; niece Vannah Phair and nephew Adrian Phair. A family viewing will be held on Thursday at 10:00am at Moles Farewell Tributes Ferndale followed by a graveside service at Lummi Nation Cemetery.
