Obituary

Lovell Kay Ferry of Bellingham, WA passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Whatcom Hospice House. She was 86; born July 2, 1928 to Bessie King and Dr. Francis L. DuPraw, D. C. DuPraw was Bellingham’s first chiropractor in 1914.
She is survived by her son; Grant Ferry (fiancée, Alice Wirkkanen), daughter; Diana (husband, Ron Luke), many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, one sister; Jacqueline Ecalbarger, and four brothers; Jack, Ed, Dennis, and Frank DuPraw.
Her beloved husband, Joe, preceded her in death; he called her Lovey. Also preceding her in death is her granddaughter, Patricia Ferry.
She loved her music and dancing. It was time to dress up and paint her nails with her sister. Her husband played saxophone in a band on weekends during their earlier years of marriage. Family was important to her and the more that could fit around the kitchen table to chat and have coffee the better she liked it. She was a crafty lady, always making fun things, like her face masks with real teeth, and we don’t want to forget her many hours in her gardens.
We will all miss you Lovell. You are with God now and we will see you again.
