Obituary
Bellingham
Lorraine Eagan left this world on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 with her three daughters at her side.
She was loving mother to Larrian (Richard Brothers) Eagan, Lin (Bill) Somersall and Lorna McGowan-Smith. In addition to her daughters she is survived by brother Ron (Kathy) Markwood of Colorado, brother-in-law Duane Haug, daughter-in-heart Mary Beth (Bill) Doane, grandchildren Rick McStotts, Michelle Padilla and Derek Trautman and their families. She also leaves life-long pal Dorothy Morgan and special friend Ken Gilbert, as well as many other good friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by husband Larry Eagan, parents Frank and Edna Markwood, sister Bonnie Haug and nephew Curt Haug.
Lorraine worked outside her home for many years, yet still made time for many interests including painting, Japanese bunka stitchery and gardening. She adored her family, all babies, and her pets especially cats. She loved to sew for her girls when they were little and made the most lovely paper doll clothes you can imagine. And, oh, how she loved to dance! Her passing will leave a huge hole in our lives.
Lorraine lived at Stafholt Good Samaritan Center for the last six years, where she was lovingly cared for until her last breath was taken. We give special thanks to the extraordinary caregivers at Stafholt who made her last years so comfortable and special you know who you are, and now much you meant to her and to her daughters.

My sympathy to the family for your loss. My husband and I rented a trailer from Larry and Lorraine when they managed the park in Arlington. We were just staring out, it was our first rental. Lorraine was very sweet and thought ful. Larry always called her “his bride” Several years later, my mother purchase a trailer in the park and lived next to Larry and Loraine. Her name was Ruth she passed away 9 years ago. She though a lot of Lorraine too and was sad when she moved away.
