Such a loss! Lorraine was truly one of the loveliest, most delightful women I have ever known. She was kind, thoughtful and a joy to know. She was friends with my mom, and shared her office at First Baptist with my dad, and I loved hearing through them about Lorraine and Mel’s trips to Veronica, Oregon and other points. She has a legion of friends and fans who mourn her passing and are lifting Greg in prayer; I am one.

  2. Greg and Della,

We were saddened to hear of your mother’s passing. Our sincere condolences.

Our dearest Lorraine. We Love you! Leaving our family & friends twenty-five years ago from Lynnwood, WA was very difficult, especially with a newborn daughter. Little did we know that the Lord had already provided “adoptive grandparents” & special “friends” living across the street from our new home to make our new life journey in Bellingham special and secure: Mel & Lorraine! They forever melded into our hearts & lives from the first day we met. Mel taught me to cook for which my family is so grateful. :) Lorraine taught me to hold my tongue & ponder thoughts before speaking an opinion for which the hearing is most grateful. :) I know Mel & Lorraine are present in Heaven with our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, and that we shall be together again one day. As a young girl my mother taught me that I should never lightly call any woman a “Lady”. It’s an honorable title and must be used appropriately. Lorraine was truly a Lady; Though I (we) miss her presence so much, a Lady always knows when it’s time to leave. Shirley, Kerry, Katharine & Kevin Sell
