Obituary

Our precious Logan Wallace Vick, 20, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 6, 2018 in Everson, Washington.

Logan was born July 19, 1998 in West Memphis, Arkansas. However, Logan grew up in Whatcom County and knew Blaine, Washington as his home. He attended Blaine School District and enjoyed many activities there. Logan was involved in soccer, football and wrestling as well as unicycling and playing the trumpet. A local favorite of his was the skate park where he spent much time building life long friendships.

Despite Logan’s short life he was able to become proficient in a tradesman career. He started with concrete, then roofing, some minimal framing and ultimately found his calling in sheet rocking. Logan was a leader and took pride in craftsmanship.

Logan was a very passionate individual and enjoyed being around other people and animals as well as many activities including hiking, camping, fishing, playing the guitar and piano and drums. Logan also enjoyed developing his own music which did including writing and rapping his own material of which he was very talented and gifted with.

He is survived by his mother, Heather Salsgiver; his brother, Travis L. Vick; his uncle, Brian K. Johnson and many cousins on his mother’s side and Uncles, Aunts and many cousins on his father’s side.

Logan was a loving Son, Brother, Nephew and a friend to ALL. Words cannot express the loss our community has suffered and how deeply he will be loved in our hearts forever.

  1. Austin and I are so sorry for your loss Heather. You have been in our thoughts and prayers. Although we did not know your son Logan, we have been blessed to have you as a neighbor and our deepest condolences go out to you and your family.

  2. Had the pleasure of spending time with Logan when he helped us with a move. He was very easy to talk to open and enthusiastic. So sorry for the loss of this young man.
