Obituary

Lisa M. James, age 51, of Bellingham, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014. Lisa was born on October 11, 1962 in Bellingham to Joseph James and Velma (Jefferson) James. Lisa was a great mother, grandmother, homemaker and prayer warrior. Lisa took care of her mother her whole life and never left her side until the day her mother passed. She enjoyed working with her hands which included her love for painting, berry picking, clam digging and harvesting oysters. Her jobs included roofing, landscaping, mechanic and the Job Corp. Lisa is survived by her partner Judy Shadbolt James; sons Joseph and Patrick James; grandchildren Patrick James Jr., Nina Wilson, Alexandrea Wilson, and Derek Wilson; daughter-in-law Jina White Antelope; siblings Doug James, Jewell James, Sheri James, Joni (Robert) Francis, Walter James, Joe Franzen, Staci James, and Julia Bergeson and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Joel James, John James, Dale James, and Michael James.

Farewell Tribute Information

A prayer service will be held Wednesday, February 19, at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 20, at 10:00 AM. Both services will be held at the Wexliem Community Building.
