On February 21, 2000, Lindy married Marianne, and together they shared a deep bond over their mutual love for golf. Lindy took great pleasure in teaching Marianne the game, and they spent many happy years playing together.

Lindy is survived by his three sons, Shane, Chris (Kelli), and Casey, and his four stepchildren, Carianne, Trevor (Jenny), Garett (Shay), and Jenny (Ryan). He leaves behind nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom were deeply loved and cherished.

  1. Lindy was that one in a million kind of guy! He taught so many people to golf and if you were lucky enough to be golfing with him he’d share his wisdom to help improve your game! I know Myles golfed better. I enjoyed the after golf fun when each player turned in their cards and earned money depending on their handicap. Marianne was such a good golfer! We’d enjoy cocktails and beer and talk about the fun everyone had. Lindy you exercised and kept in shape. We were saddened by hearing about your passing heaven has golfing so you’ll be enjoying your favourite sport! We have beautiful memories to cherish of happy times with you and Marianne.

  2. Lindy will be dearly missed. So many High School memories I remember and enjoyed stopping in Parker, Az for that quick visit on our way to and from Yuma.

  3. Kon Lemperes says:

Lindy was a dear friend and got me back into golf after I returned from the service in 1970. He was super competitive, loved a good laugh, and I will miss him. God bless and keep him until we meet again!
