Lillian F. Rowe, 88, passed away June 5, 2014 in Bellingham. She was born Jan. 11, 1926 in Olean, NY to Edgar O. and Faith (Weber) Miller. Lillian met her husband Earl F. Rowe while roller-skating. They were married in Olean on Nov.1, 1947, and honeymooned at Niagara Falls. They moved to Bellingham when the Mobil Refinery moved from Olean to Ferndale in 1954. Lillian had worked for KVOS television and later the first Bellingham cable company, TeleCable. Lillian was a loving and generous person who always put her family and others first. No one ever left the Rowe’s home hungry or without a “care package,” including the local wildlife. Lillian was a member of the American Legion Post #7 Auxiliary and she supported several local charities. Lillian and Earl took pride in their home and yard but always found time to enjoy roller-skating and dancing together. Lillian is survived by her son Terry (Shelley) Rowe of Ferndale; Grandchildren Vanessa (Seth) Digby, Jonathan (Kristi) Rowe; Great Grandchildren Zach, Ethan, and Aria. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl on Feb. 6, 2014.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Bayview Cemetery at 1:00pm. Donations Information

My deepest sympathy Lillian’s family and friends. While it saddens me to learn of the loss of someone like Lillian, it saddens God even more. He does not want your family to grieve in pain. Please know that he is very much aware of the many fond memories you shared together. That is why God promises to resurrect those in The Memorial Tombs. ( John 5:28,29) As you await the fulfillment of His promise, take comfort from His word and extend comfort to your other grieving loved ones. our deepest sympathy to Earl & Lillian’s family I met Earl & Lillian at a dance lesson. I was alone and when it was time to leave, they escorted me to my car. Miss seeing them at the Legion..
