  1. Kathleen was an important part of our lives growing up the the First Congregational Church family. Her kind and caring ways were important to us in the Youth Group. She was truly a special role model.

  2. My mother, Shirley Heaton Kraig, and Kathie shared a first cousin named Willis Watrous, and so to simplify my relationship I early on considered Kathie to be my mother’s cousin. My mother died in 1986, one year before I began celebrating holidays with Kathie’s family, and so only now do I realize that Kathie has been like a second mother in my life since 1987. She & Mom were very similar, almost personality twins! For me this time of sorrow is just like Spring 1986. That’s all I can write for now. To the family: A wish for peaceful remembering & sorrow mixed with Kathie’s sweetness.

  3. What a wonderful lady. I have only known Kathie for a few short years and will miss her very much. A very special person. Every week I would call her or she would call me to get together. This I will miss, and thanks for the cookies and coffee. Bart you got a wonderful wife only some can dream of, Jim, your Mom was a special person to me, and what a lucky guy to have her as your Mom.
