Obituary

June A. Walton, age 89, went to be with her Lord & Savior on October 9, 2017. She was born in Bellingham on February 8, 1928 to George and Elsie Pullar. June was a hardworking, devoted Christian, with an adventurous spirit. She pursued a career as a Word Processor while managing a household of seven. The meals she prepared for her family were beyond compare, and she always found time to read to her children, sharing with them her love of books. Whether camping, hiking, decorating the Christmas tree, or playing the organ & singing, June’s kindness and loyalty radiated. In all she did for her family, she continually instilled in them a deep and abiding love for Jesus and his Word. Her courageous and resilient nature showed itself in the face of many household moves, job changes, and in her always compassionate care for her chronically ill Husband, Paul D. Walton, who preceded her in death in 2008. What a joyful reunion they had in Heaven. June is survived by her son Timothy Walton, daughter Martha (Craig) Swineford, son Tad (Janis) Walton, daughter Patricia (Mike) Hane, son Scipio Walton, 15 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held for June on Thursday, October 26, 11:00am at Bayview Cemetery.
