Obituary

Joyce Pulling entered the gates of Heaven on Saturday, November 26, 2016 after a short illness.She was born to Ernest and Frances Ayling on August 11, 1922 in Brighton-Sussex, England. She Married Albert Pulling in April of 1955 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

In 1957 the family ventured to Tujunga, California. Then in 1963 they moved to Chico, CA, where she received her nursing degree. She always wanted to be a nurse and she continued her nursing at St. Joseph Hospital in Bellingham, WA; semi – retiring in July 1986, completely retiring in 1988.

She is survived by her 3 children; Wayne Pulling (Linda) of Citrus Heights, CA., Maynard Pulling (Ceri) of Oroville, Ca., and Sylvia Knight (Tom) of Ferndale, WA. She also has 9 wonderful grandchildren and 8 wonderful great-grandchildren, 1 nephew in England, and 2 nieces in Holland, and many wonderful friends.

Her Greatest joy was returning to England in August 2016 to see where she grew up and to once again appreciate the country side places she remembered so well.

Preceding her in death was her husband Albert of 58 years., her twin brother Gordon of Holland and her parents Ernest and Frances Ayling of England.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Ferndale, on the corner of Vista and Washington St. on December 8, 2016 at 2 pm.

There will be a committal service for Joyce on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 12noon at Greenacres Memorial Park, followed by a memorial service at 2pm at First Baptist Church in Ferndale, WA.
