Joyce is survived by her sister, Alice Bowhay of Dayton, WA; her children, Linda (Ray) TerWisscha of Sumas, Shirley (Robert) Gebhardt of Blaine, Jerry (Jill) Bowhay of Ferndale; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Bowhay, and her son, John Bowhay.

Joyce will be greatly missed by all. A celebration of her life will be held at a later time.

  1. Linda, we are sorry for your loss of your Mother. Hope you are doing well and your good memories are comforting you.

  2. Ron Cowan says:

I have great memories of visiting the farm in Deming as a young boy. Exploring the woods and trips down to the river followed by one of Auntie Joyce’s great meals. Lots of laughs and smiles. So thankful for those times Auntie Joyce. May you rest in peace.
