Obituary
Joseph Michael Jefferson, age 37, of Bellingham, WA, and the Lummi Nation, passed away on Wednesday October 14, 2015. A prayer service will be held on Sunday October 18, 2015 at 6pm, and a funeral service on Monday October 19, 2015 at 10am. Both services will be held at the Wexliem Community Building.

My dearest family, I am so sorry to loose such a handsome, sweet young man. If there is anything you need please feel free to let me know? One of the last times I saw Jo Jo I was out by the jail not last summer but the summer before. He just got out of jail he was pretty happy when he found me. I went in to a bail bonds office and came outside and he was by my car waiting for me. I gave him a pack of smokes and $10 I though he was going to take off walking as he walked away He spun around and asked if he could catch a ride? Asked where he was going? I lived in Ferndale than. I don’t think we were going home yet? I don’t remember? Anyway, he said Lummi I assumed my auntie Verna house so I was driving towards aunties house.
We ended up dropping him off at Crab Bay… I just felt like sharing that with you♡♡♡ last time I got to visit Joe Joe I think that’s the day Wendy Was Talking About?
