Obituary

Everyone who knew Joe knows that he was kind and never had a harsh word to say towards anyone. Joe attended Chemawa Indian School where he completed the 11th grade. While he attended there he played football, basketball, baseball and pulled canoe. He worked at the Silver Reef for a few years and was also a fisherman and laborer. He was a wonderful performer of the Swan Klan family dancers which he was always the center of attraction. Joe was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Prayer services will be Friday, December 27, at 6:00pm at Moles Ferndale, 2039 Main St. A funeral mass will be held Saturday at St. Joachim Catholic Church at 10:00am with burial to follow in Lummi Nation Cemetery.
