  1. Dear Tawnya and family

  2. We lost a wonderful, caring, compassionate person. I was fortunate to serve on Washington Realtors Legislative Steering Committee for a number of years with Jon. He was a very knowledgeable gentleman whom readily shared that information. I know Jon touched a number of lives with his steadfast demeanor and upbeat personality. He shall be missed.

    Max Perry
Soine shoes. who in the Bellingham and surrounding area was not involved through the years, with Jon Soine. He was a realtor in later years and showed us oroperties to establish our business ‘Perry Pallet’. Jon was such a vibrant part of Whatcom County. He will be sorely missed.

Rick and family, I just learned of Jon’s passing. I have known him all my life. When he was young, he would catch a ride into Bellingham with my parents who lived at the end of Northshore Drive. As a kid, my shoes always came from Soines. As a sailor, he called me one day to ask me to be standing by at the Bellingham Airport in case the weather was bad so he could show Cherry Point to the Secretary of the Navy. My Commanding Officer called me to vent his rage… “My is a reserve Captain involved with the travels of the Secretary of the Navy?” I replied, “Captain Soine is more than a reserve Captain, he’s a community leader.” I should add my C.O. was only a Commander. Anyhow, I’m sorry to hear this and I’m thinking about you all. He was a good man and businessman.

Leave A Condolence
