Obituary
JoAnn R. Johnson, age 65, of Ferndale, passed away on December 30, 2021. She was born on October 5, 1956, in San Diego, CA to Kenneth and Joan Johnson.
JoAnn was warm, fun and always up for an adventure. Especially when she could bring her nieces along. With music in her soul, she loved going to concerts, and playing her guitar. Willing to do anything for anyone in need, JoAnn exuded love and kindness. Her intelligence was fueled by reading and brought her success throughout her 35-year career with Samson Rope. JoAnn was an amazing woman who will be missed every minute of every day. Her family and friends cherish the stockpile of memories they made with JoAnn.
JoAnn is survived by her twin sister Denise Mitchell , sister Cristine Johnson-Staub; brother Patrick Johnson; nieces Cassandra and Kathleen, and grandniece Maddy.

Dearest Denise and Family,
As you already know every day will be a challenge. When we talked during lunch breaks you so often talked about JoAnn and her accomplishments traveling to Louisiana to train people. You always held JoAnn in the highest regard and proud of her. I love you Denise.
