Joan was a friend who I felt would be in my life forever. She was one of the most honest and goodhearted people I have known. Even though we did not spend a lot of time together she was the one friend that I knew was there for me and I could talk to about anything and I know she knew I was there for her too. There is a void where she was and I miss her very much.
Joan was so much more than what she allowed the world to see. So very talented and artistic, a true colorist. She could put colors together so beautifully. She was wise to find friends who enjoyed and appreciated her and her fabric creations.

She loved to laugh and make jokes, often at her own expense, loved having fun with her loving husband, Dick, on there adventures and at home with their cats. She was an enthusiastic Bunko player and participant in all the activities around her, adding a little spice to every thing she did.

I loved her and wish I had had more of her in my life. She will stay in my heart.
