  1. Jessica was our groomer for many years to our beloved Bernese Mt dog Tenaya. T saw Jessica at Tails and then at her casa. Towards the end of T’s life on earth, she couldn’t be groomed as much. She started getting bad mats and getting quite stinky. ? She couldn’t stand for long periods of time and being a Bernese she was a big gal. Jessica came to the rescue to help groom Tenaya three last times, before she moved on over the rainbow. I would show up with Tenaya. Jessica and I would both muscle her into the bath area. Jessica would remove 20lbs of fur (her words not mine). And she’d be clean and so fun to snuggle. Tenaya passed this past November. I’m comforted in knowing that Jessica has quite the animal pose wherever her soul has rested. She left us too soon. And she will he missed.

  2. Jessica was our groomer for my 1st goldendoodle and now are current doodle. Both Maggie and Josie loved Jessica. When Maggie was diagnosed with Cancer and couldn’t come to see Jessica; Jessica came to our place to clean up the mess of a haircut I attempted to give her. She was such a gentle and caring soul. I am going to miss Jessica and am grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know her.

  3. We were lucky to find Jessica when we moved to Bellingham four years ago. She always made me feel that our dog Janie was special. It was fun to see what fashionable scarf she would be sporting when I picked Janie up and to hear Jessica’s report on her “antics” in the bathtub or on the table. On one of our last visits Jessica wanted to be sure we knew about a growth she had found on Janie’s back and also wanted to be sure we had Janie’s ears checked for a possible infection.

Jessica was conscientious and caring. From the other comments I have read here, it is obvious that she touched many lives and gave back in many ways. I can’t see an orchid now without thinking of her.

Our deepest sympathy on your loss,

    Susan, Mike and Janie Callahan
