Obituary

Jeffrey Lee Watson, aged 67, of Bellingham, passed away on February 15, 2024. He was born on January 24, 1957, the son of Frank and Verdie Watson.

Jeffrey attended Sehome High School and continued his education at Whatcom Community College, shaping his understanding of the world. On September 24th, 1991, he married the love of his life, Sue Darlene Watson, in a ceremony in Centralia, Washington. Their union was a testament to love, commitment, and shared adventures.

Known for his honesty, humility, caring nature, thoughtfulness, and wisdom, Jeffrey was a pillar of strength for those around him. He will be remembered most for his profound love for his family and their heritage. As a beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Son, and Friend, Jeffrey’s impact on the lives of those who knew him was immeasurable.

His family’s cherished memories include watching him meticulously work on his classic car, soaring through the skies during flying lessons, and witnessing his love and dedication to raising his son. He also took a keen interest in learning about his families heritage and genealogy. Jeffrey also found solace and joy in nature, often taking leisurely walks with his beloved wife.

Jeffrey is survived by his devoted wife, Sue Darlene Watson, his son, Jay James Watson, and his brother, Jay Alan Watson.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, the 29th, at 2 pm at Bellingham Seventh-Day Adventists, located at 5321 Waschke Rd. in Bellingham. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Jeffrey’s life and sharing their memories.
