Obituary

James C. Johnson, age 85, passed away in his home in Bellingham, WA on December 26th, 2022. He was born May 17th, 1937 in Pipestone MN to parents Lorena and Carl Johnson.  James is preceded in death by his wife Darlene and son James.

James is survived by his daughters, Tammy Crosby and Julie Traber, and his grandchildren Nichela Traber, Jaymie Crosby, Katrina Crosby, and Treat Crosby

Throughout his life, James was a decorated Navy Chief, a mechanic, and a circulation manager. When not working he could be found enjoying two of his favorite pastimes, camping and spending time with his family.

James is remembered by his family for his infectious smile, his sass and stubbornness, and how he was always there for them no matter what.  James was warm and loving and a friend to everyone he met. He will be greatly missed.
