Obituary

Ila C. King
1922-2012

Our sweet Ila passed away on December 22, 2012 and went into her Heavenly Fathers loving care. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Robert A. (Bob) King in 1998. After moving to Camano Island in 1968, both became very active in the community, attending Camano Chapel for over 40 years, and playing much golf at Camaloch Golf Club Estates where they resided. She also volunteered at Camano Fire Dept., Camano Senior Center, Camano Second-hand Store and many other worthwhile causes. They traveled after Bob retired and Ila even had time to be involved with the gals at the Camano area Red Hats where she was the Queen Mum. Always known for her sharing and giving spirit, Ila leaves behind 3 children; son Jerry R. (Pam) King, daughter Diane (Mrs. Kent) Hodges, and son Michael King St. Clair (James Bridges), 5 wonderful grandchildren, 7 beautiful great grandchildren, followed by many, many dear and close friends. She will be greatly missed. Goodbye Gramma I.I.

Please accept my sympathy to the loving Children,Family & Friends in the painful loss of your dearly loved IIa. She will be sorely missed by all who knew & loved her. Hopefully you will be comforted by the Bible Verses that follow: Isaiah25:8 “HE WILL ACTUALLY SWALLOW UP DEATH FOREVER, AND THE SOVEREIGN LORD JEHOVAH WILL CERTAINLY WIPE THE TEARS FROM ALL FACES.”

  2. Please accept my sympathies. I was Ila’s neighbor in Camaloch since 2001. She was the first person we met whenshe delivered some goodies to our door. She was a fantastic neighbor – I will miss her.

  3. Nairy Finn says:

Ila will always be a queen in my heart. I will miss her dearly. My deepest sympathy to you all.

  4. My deepest sympathy tot the family and friends of Carole. She sounds like a woman that lived her life to the fullest, and loved it. The loss of someone like that can be so difficult, she will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. Hopefully the words at revelation 21:4 can bring some comfort to you all. It says “And he will wipe out e Rey tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Soon death will be done away with and as brought out in John 5:28,29 ” all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” These promises have always been a source of comfort and encouragement to me, hopefully to you also.
