Henry Gates

Henry Gates, (Sir Henry the III as he often introduced himself), age 88, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2012. Henry was born April 14, 1924 in Rainier, OR. Henry moved to Whatcom County in 1971 and worked at ARCO where he retired in 1985. Henry was a World War II Veteran with many medals for the bravery he executed. The last years of his life were invested in his church home of North County Christ the King, where he volunteered and enjoyed many Bible studies and home groups. There will be a viewing at The Chapel at Moles Greenacres in Ferndale on Wednesday July 18, 2012 from 3 to 7 PM We invite you to join us as we celebrate Henry’s life at North County Christ the King Worship Center in Lynden on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers we ask that you please make donations to The Whatcom Hospice House, 2806 Douglas Ave., Bellingham, WA, 98225.
