I only knew Helen from the many stores and restaurants she frequently visited. Amazing energy! Always cheerful and helpful in finding items. She gave me good advice about securing my purse handle to the shopping cart. Charming lady who probably never knew a stranger. My sincere condolences to her family.

Joe So sorry to learn of your Mother’s passing. She was a wonderful friend. I went through Custer a few days ago and just sensed something was amiss. I tried to call her and couldn’t reach her. Bless her heart. I will miss her as I know you will. All I can say is I appreciated her faith in God and as she always finished each phone call with God bless. May the Lord be with you Carolyn

  3. Helen was a one-of-a-kind person. She became friends with Dave’s parent’s 30 years ago at Coast to Coast in Lynden, and continued to bless us with her cheer, stories and her joy for life, even in our last visit with her in December. She was a bold witness to her faith in Jesus Christ and an encouragement to many. We remember her kind heart for those in nursing homes throughout the past several years, and true concern for them. She spent many hours visiting countless folks making their days brighter. Our family will miss her.
