Obituary

Helen Marie Wilson was born in Bellingham, WA to Richard Sr. and Zeta (Paul) Hillaire.

She went to Lummi Day School and was a Fisherwoman, coach, housewife, and casino worker. Helen was very vibrant and loved her family. Back in the day when her son raced motorcycles, she would drive all the way to the Seattle area and did not miss a single race. She was also always right there for her husband, no matter what occasion. Her son, Gordy, appreciated that. She loved riding in the car with her husband, holding hands and tapping her hand to the music. She loved to pull canoe and play and coach baseball. She was her son’s number one fan throughout his baseball career and was also scorekeeper. She loved to cook, care for her family, and gamble occasionally. Helen was loving, warm, caring, humorous, easy going, beautiful, brave, and a gentle soul.

She is predeceased by her husband, Gordon Robert Wilson Sr.

She is survived by her son, Gordon Robert Wilson Jr.; her six beloved grandchildren, Rayshawn, Kiha, Natasha, Marsenis, Trevon, and LaVonica; and the numerous other friends and family she had around her.
