Obituary
Harry Thomas Miller passed away peacefully Monday, May 6, 2024 at the age of 77. He was born in Trenton Michigan on September 25, 1946 to Fred and Winifred Miller.
Harry was a loving father and husband. He worked very hard to provide for his family and was a “super A type” personality. Always analyzing and researching he never did anything without a plan. He earned his Eagle Scout rank, built a boat, became a pilot for a short time, went to college to earn several degrees, and ended up working at the Mobile Refinery in Ferndale, now owned by Phillips 66, as an inspector for over 30 years.
While not having many hobbies, he was a DIY type man always fixing something or upgrading it. He designed and built two houses while building his family and career. He held many certifications and studied hard to become the best he could be at his job. He always tried to help anyone who asked and gave advice freely.
Harry is survived by his devoted wife, Alexis Cay Miller, his son Arthur Miller and his wife Dannette Miller, his brother Stan Miller and his wife Leann Miller, his sister Marjorie Ellis, and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
His celebration of life will be determined at a later date and will be streamed for those who cannot attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
