Obituary

Gloria Mary Miller, beloved wife and mother, died in this city April 12th, 2015 after a brief illness. She was born on December 25th, 1925 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Bellingham, to Marion and Caroline Shepherd née Bainter, of 2617 Henry St., where she spent her childhood.
She was a 1944 graduate of Bellingham High School, attended Western Washington College, went to nursing school, and also worked as an elevator operator at the Bellingham Herald building.
On July 21st, 1951, she married Clarence Leon Miller and together they raised two daughters and one son. In 1965 she moved to her home on Garden St. where she would reside for the remainder of her life.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Wallace, who died in 1991, her husband, Clarence, who passed away in 2008, and by one daughter, Angela, who passed away four days before her.
She is survived by one son, Michael of Bellingham, and one daughter, Kari, who resides in Connecticut.
She will be interred at Greenacres Cemetery in Ferndale, next to her husband, Clarence, and near her parents, Marion and Caroline. There will be no services at this time.
