She leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Gerald Burrough, granddaughter, Holly Wills, sons-in-law Doug Shearer and Lewis Machado, and several sisters and brothers.

There will be a graveside service at Mt View Cemetery, 2971 Lampman Rd, Ferndale, WA, on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 1pm.

Mom’s last writing was in August, 2016 when she wrote the following:
“One day I am going to that city where the roses never fade. Where all I went through growing up, all the heartbreak of tears unending and despair and the feeling of giving up. Then, one day, God called my name. “Dear child of mine, you have labored long enough. Now it’s time you rest. Welcome Home!””

  1. Faye is the first woman other than my mother, that I called mom; she insisted.! Faye was always gracious and caring, and never without a word of advice!! Although I have not seen her in many years now, I will always remember her voice, and her COOKING! She was one of the best cooks I Can remember from my childhood. She always treated me like her own daughter, and was always looking out for my well being whenever I stayed at her home.
My sincere condolences to Shannon, Kim, Bruce, Dianne, Layne, and all of her family. I am so sorry that you have lost an angel~ I’ll see you again in heaven, MOM!! Love to you all <3
