Glendine hired me at St. Luke’s in 1978. We kept in touch through the years, she was a very intelligent and interesting lady. Condolences to the family

  4. Glendine and I grew up on the southside together. Our mothers were classmates and good friends. I remember the nice dinners Glendine prepared for some of us girls in the early days. When her grandfather dies her mother and her moved to a little house on mill. Glendine always loved to entertain and make delicious meals for her friends. Her love for baking started when she got a job at Johnsons Bakery on Harris street she learned a lot there. She was very generous in hlping charitable organization raise money with her apple pie donation and a pie a month for a year. At Sacred Heart auction her pie for a year raised over $400.00 dollars. We had many wonderful trips together, a month in London studying nursing, a trip to Poland and Romania when it was still under Communist Rule and a trip to Germany. She was very knowledgeable about the countries we visited and did all of the planning. We lost track of one another when she moved to California but reconnected when she moved back to Bellingham and lived on Chuckanut. She was a wonderful compassionate nurse who knew her stuff. condolences to the family and rest in peace my friend.

  5. Glendine was so generous and kind to me. I stayed with her,Patty and Stacey for a few weeks after I had stayed with their pets while they all went to England. They would wait for me to get off work so we could eat dinner together and it was always delicious. I saw Glendine last at Patty’s funeral. So sad to lose two lovely friends. My sympathy and prayers to Stacey and her family.Love always,Barbara Fuller
