   Dear Carol,
   George was such a placid and wonderful person. In the last few years of my husband’s life
   our conversations at the gym were about his unusual hobby of identifying and trying to read papers in the Urdu language, His smiling and enquiring face is unforgettable. I also appreciated so very much when you both called and took me out for lunch after my husband passed.

   While I miss very much not seeing George again, esp. at the Gym and going out for coffee with you as a couple, just thoughts of him are comforting. Please know that I meditate for you and to give you Energy to carry on your journey, with the love of your family and friends.

   I hope I can see you sometime at the City Gym.

   My sincere and heartfelt condolences to all George’s family and friends.Though we had never met, and spoken just the once on the phone, George was an inspiration and support to me for some years, as fellow moderator of the India Study Circle Yahoo Group. The group would never have got off the ground without George’s involvement and would not have kept me as moderator for so long without his humour and guidance.
   You will be missed by many, George, and I send God’s blessings over the Pond to all his family and those who knew him.
