  1. Bob Storms says:

George was my go-to-guy for advice on marine upholstery over many years. He knew which fabrics to buy and which to avoid. He never gave a thought to the price, just the quality and longevity of the fabric. He was also a friend at church for over 50 years. (The time slips by) His life was of service and I’ll never forget the various jobs, help, and advice that george gave me over the years. I was sorry to be away at the time of his funeral service but I’m glad that there is a way of expressing my love and appreciation for his part in my life via this medium. He’s with his God now.

  2. We remember the wonderful times at the Lake. George had a great “museum ” of old tools. Loved worshipping in church with him too. love to the family!

  3. Blessings to you Dear George as you pass over into a new adventure. It was a honor to be in your presence and listen to your stories.Thank you for loving my Dan and giving him someone to look up to. I promise to take care of Dan.

  4. Thank you George, for your dedication to teaching the scouts how to survive in the wilderness, and in life. We are forever grateful. The Wolverine Patrol.

  5. One of the anchors of my life when times were tough, Uncle George rocked as far as uncles go! Memories, memories, memories. They are all there intact and I only have to reach down into my heart to pull out a million of them that include Uncle George. Interesting that Cain Lake and Uncle George are almost synonyms of each other. Oh the memories. Please don’t rest in peace. Rock the heavens. I love you Uncle George!
