Obituary

Frederick William Nolte III, age 74, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 in Bellingham. He was born July 2, 1938 in Grand Coulee, WA to Frederick William Nolte, Jr and Lora Fern (Eddington) Nolte.

Fred was a 25 year veteran with the Bellingham Police Dept and veteran of the U.S. Army.

He enjoyed boating, golf, RV travel and spending winters in Arizona. He was a member of Wheel & Keel, Bellingham Yacht Club and president of the local chapter of Family Motorcoach Assn.

Fred is survived by his wife, Wilma Higgins, whom he married June 2009; son Fred (Alice) Nolte and their daughter Kayla; brother Richard (Cheryl) Nolte; nephews Kevin and Cody Nolte and Scott (Alison) Nolte and their children Madelyn and Campbell; and step-daughter Brenda Higgins Moberg.

Fred was preceded in death by his wife Jerre Nolte in 2007, after 45 years of marriage.
