Obituary
Florence Marie Harrison was born on January 11, 1923 to Forrest and Edna Wolfe in Giltner, Nebraska. She passed away on February 15, 2015, at the age of 92.
Florence was raised in Illinois and moved to Bellingham in 1945. She later married Noel Harrison and raised their six children in beautiful downtown Laurel on a small dairy farm.
Florence loved to play bingo in the bingo halls and was sorry to see them close. Flowers were another passion; she was always buying more flowers than she had room for.
She felt very blessed to have lived among her close-knit Laurel community for over 60 years.
Preceding her in death is her husband Noel, who passed in 1984; and sons, Leo, who passed in 1980, and Dale, who passed in 1992.
Survivors include her children; Joyce Herrin, Duane (Ione) Harrison, Larry (Sue Pazaski) Harrison, and Judy (Albert) Larsen; nine grandchildren; and many more Greats. Florence was very family oriented and loved each one of them dearly.
Per Florence’s request, a private family burial will be held. A celebration of Florence’s life will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Francis for the special care their mother received.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Whatcom Hospice Foundation or your favorite charity.

Mark and I would like to send our thoughts and prayers to the family of Florence. We were residents at OPAL and looked forward to Florence’s cheery smiles. She was a wonderful person.

So sorry for your loss. I remember spending time with Joyce growing up. Joyce’s Mom was always nice to me and had a great smile. I remember she had lots of pretty perfume bottles, cooked good dinners and made me feel welcome.

To the entire Harrison family,
I was saddened to real od Florence’s passing. She was a very nice woman. She was just one of those people everyone liked. She loved her family and was always one of the first to offer a helping hand, that was just her nature. She will be missed.
