Obituary
Erica Marie Eigenbrood-Chapin was born in Bellingham, WA to Linda Allen and Jake Eigenbrood, on February 1st, 1981. Erica passed away suddenly March 30th 2023.
Erica’s early life began in Sedro Wooley with her mom until she reached middle school. She would later move to Ferndale WA, to live with her Grandmother. Erica attended Ferndale schools, where she met lifelong friends along with her future husband Curtis Chapin.
Erica and Curtis welcomed their child Blue Chapin in August 2005. Erica was highly creative, and enjoyed creating art and writing. She liked to spend time with her family and friends, as well as her three cats and her dog. Erica is remembered for her huge heart, always there to listen and comfort anyone who needed it.
Erica leaves behind her husband Curtis and her child Blue. She is also survived by her sister Michelle, brother in-law Rick and their children, as well as her “second” mom Sherie Beck and “second” sister Michelle Beck.
Anyone who has had their hearts touched by Erica is welcomed to join us for a memorial at Moles Greenacres in Ferndale on April 21st at 2pm.

Erica you will never be forgotten for your Big Beautiful Heart that you had for everybody, you helped me in many ways when I was sick and made me laugh and stay positive You are a Beautiful person inside and out and I Hope and Pray you are Happy and Free from the Pain that you endured I will Always Love You and Never forget you Thank you for being that friend and Sister I needed You will be missed and Hope to see you again with your Beautiful Heart I still remember the day I first met you and how you and I connected right away and kept and built that friendship up even when we were unable to communicate with each other for awhile You left a Huge mark on my heart from the first day we met you will never be forgotten Always Love You and Miss you
