A kind and gracious friend and neighbor, so much about Ed will be missed. Seeing Ed and Missey take their beach walks, having chats in the carport and Ed’s great giving heart. A loss for all who knew him. Sincerest sympathy Helen and all the family.

A thousand words won’t bring you back, I know because I’ve tried; neither will a million tears, I know because I’ve cried a million tears. I know that I will not forget you any time soon, you are in my heart for every more.

Dear Helen, dear familiy, here are some words about Erhard as we have known him… Erhard was born in January 25th in the year 1942 in Biebesheim/Rhein, he had 6 brothers. After his parents dies at the age of 37 and 34 years, Erhard was brought to an orphanage. At the age of 13 he could live with his grandma, and there he became aquainted with Mr. and Mrs. Squire. They had already 2 adopted children, so they adopted Erhard too. This is the way he went to the USA.During his militarytime he visited his brothers in Germany two times, because he was stationed at Vicenca/Italy. From there he was sent to Vietnam. Thereafter he had to start a new life, it was very hard. Many years later he got to know Helen and fell in Love with her. He adopted 2 children with her, and over the years he took care for a lot of foster-children. Erhard loved to cook, like all his brothers do too. So he provided his familiy good with the help from Helen. We always will have a place in our hearts for Erhard, in love, Manfred and Ursula and daughters Petra and Pia
