Obituary

Emily Grace Lawton, age 20, of Lummi, passed away on June 24, 2019. Emily was born on December 15, 1998 in Bellingham, to Garrette Lawton and Lola Olsen. She attended Lummi Nation Schools. Emily was sassy, beautiful, strong willed and honest. She loved being in nature, listening to music, pole fishing with her father, reading, watching movies, swimming, camping, playing with make-up, baking, spending time with her big brother James and her babies Skye and Aieila. Emily is survived by her parents Garrette Lawton and Lola Olsen; son Skye; daughter Aieila; and brother James. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Sally; grandfather Herman Jr.; grandmother Arlene Edwards; uncles Harold and Arthur. A prayer service will be Wednesday, June 26, at 6:00pm. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 27, at 10:00am. Both services will be held at the Wexliem Community Building.
