Obituary

Edwin A. Thurier passed away peacefully on February 24, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in Bellingham, WA. He was 80 years old. Edwin was born June 11, 1935 in Saskatchewan. He was the youngest of three siblings.

When he was a small child his family moved to Richmond, B.C. where he was raised. At the age of 21, he met and married his wife, Patricia, on September 21, 1956. They would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this year. He worked as a drywaller for many years until he retired in 2000.

Edwin is survived by his wife, Patricia and their two children, Leo and Debra. He is also survived by his sister, Doreen, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Caroline Thurier and also his older brother, David Thurier. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.
