Obituary

Edward F. Serrano, age 42, passed away on September 18, 2021 in Bellingham, WA. Eddie was born April 22, 1979 in Omak, WA to Edward Serrano Jr. and Holly Fall Serrano. From Omak, his family eventually moved to Whatcom County and he went to Mount Baker High School and then Sehome High School, where he graduated while going to Bellingham Technical College, receiving his machine technology degree. Eddie worked for BP Cherry Point Refinery for 20 years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, camping, riding his motorcycle, and of course, videogames.

He loved to go to the gym and was good at Jiu Jitsu and liked boxing. Getting hit in the head would put a huge smile on his face. Eddie was a hard worker and worked to play hard and take care of his family. He would always say “life’s good,” “you can’t sweat the small stuff,” and “tomorrow is never promised so enjoy life now.” He lived his life that way, enjoying life fully.

He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. Eddie is survived by his wife Jennifer Serrano; his children Edward O.  Serrano, Alexis Serrano, and Miah Serrano; his parents Edward Serrano Jr. and Holly Fall Serrano; siblings Anna Wylie, Amber Rodgers, and Anthony Serrano; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Conoco Phillips 66 building on Saturday October 9th at 5:00 pm.
